Bryce resort zipline11/16/2023 ![]() Bryce Resort Zipline Adventure caught our eye. We are always looking for activities for "package plan" offers for our guests. My husband and I own a Bed & Breakfast in Weyers Cave, Va. Come to think about it I am ready to go again. And she had never been zip lining before. Oh, if you think this for kids only I am in my 60's and she? Well, we will just say it was her birthday. ![]() We went for a couple of cold draft Angry Orchard ciders after the zip line adventure. The food at the Cooper Kettle is excellent. We could have watched them going over some of bicycle ramp jumps all day. There was a Mountain Bike Race going on at the same time. While we were on the mountain zip lining. The goose bumps were still up when I reached the bottom several nice long easy runs later.Ĭall ahead, try to go in a small group, wear toe covered shoes as your toes will reaching out for that wooden platform. I had seen the cables above the chairlift. It was quite easy as they build up the length of the run. For the stops in the trees they attach you to the tree. Ely, Mike and the others made us feel secure and safe. In a relaxed setting they suit you up in an all encompassing outfit that is attached to the cable. The staff is great and you will have a good time. I would recommend this to anyone no matter what your age. Since the grandkids are back home in Alaska I am now looking for friends/relative to go on the adventure with me. The staff was very safety conscious and told me I was doing a great job for my age (since I am a grandma.) My experience was great and I am ready to go back again. Since there were only two of us we were given lots of attention and it was a great experience for me. The manager did a great job finding two staff members to take us on our adventure. ![]() We made our reservation last minute so when we got there the staff had release the guys thinking they had no reservations. So much my granddaughter wanted to go again and talked me into going with her. They are 15 and 16 and loved their experience. A friend had told me about the zip line experience so I thought this would be a good fund thing for them to do. They charged me almost $7 for a can of Pepsi and bag of skittles.I am always looking for fun things for my grandkids to do when they come visit me from Alaska. Besides the lunch break we took, I stood the entire day bc there was no open seats to watch my family.Ģnd: The food in snacks in the Shenandoah Center were imo overpriced. There is no lockers or storage for patrons to place their belongs while the slopes so many people were using all thr chairs outside to hold their items while they were on the slopes which meant no seating for spectators. 1st: a locker room of sorts in the Shenadoah center ( the lodge) would be nice. There were a few things that could have been better. The staff was great and the food was fresh and delicious! ![]() We finished off the day with a little ice skating and dinner at the on-site restaurant, the Copper kettle. I was able to enjoy a drink and watch her from the Carter Hutte bar at the bottom of the slope. My daughter picked it right up and enjoyed the whole experience. The Instructor was very nice and knowledgeable. We had a blast! We were also able to get my daughter skiing lesson with their skii school. We were all able to partake in snow tubing as well which was equipped with a carpet lift so we didn't have to drag the tub all the way up on our own. My husband and son spent the entire day on the slopes. They also have a small ice skating rink and a 3 lane tubing hill. They have a gear shop, rentals, skii/snowboard school, lodge, restaurant and bar. It is a smaller resort but still has everything you need. They are not managed by the resort itself though. We were able to stay at the Aspen East condos slope side.
